Atlantic City native Daniel Gallagher, Esq. brings a unique familiarity with the local community and over 25 years of legal experience to his roles as a founding partner of DEEM Enterprises and its Chief Legal Officer. Mr. Gallagher’s extensive presence, experience and involvement in the community make him exceptionally positioned to facilitate the legal aspects of the Renaissance at Bader Field development.

During his tenure as a practicing attorney, Mr. Gallagher has successfully filed and defended hundreds of tax appeals, including those for residential, commercial and casino properties. Mr. Gallagher most notably served as general counsel for the Atlantic City Housing Authority and Urban Redevelopment Agency, and he played a key role in the land acquisition, site development, contract development and government approval of the Trump Taj Mahal, which was at the time the largest casino in Atlantic City. As a partner at Miller, Gallagher & Grimley, Mr. Gallagher acted as counsel for the development of hundreds of housing properties and developments in Galloway and Hamilton Townships, and as the former assistant solicitor for the City of Atlantic City, he worked in the areas of real estate property tax appeals, zoning, and planning. Mr. Gallagher also formerly served as counsel to the City Council of Atlantic City.

Mr. Gallagher is licensed to practice law in the New Jersey Superior Court, New Jersey District Court, The United States Tax Court, and The Supreme Court of the United States. He earned his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law, his LLM in taxation from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, and his B.S. from Rutgers University.
